Hide AdSheree Dawn Earnshaw, from Hayling Island, has branded Sports Direct’s working practices ‘disgraceful’.
She said: ‘Employed on precarious contracts, workers face a daily fight to survive with dignity and are unable to challenge exploitation and abuse for fear of losing their jobs. In Sports Direct’s quest to maximise its profits, workplace rights are shamefully thrown out of the window.’
War on Want’s labour rights campaigner Owen Espley says that workers are ‘conditioned to shut up’ even amidst exploitative treatment.
He said: ‘It’s time for action to end the abuse endured by workers at Sports Direct.’
