Honour brings sweet success for company that helps families get a good night's sleep
That's the view from Lynda Harding, founder of Waterlooville firm Sweet Dreamers, which won Overall Business of the Year and Small Business of the Year award at The News' Business Excellence Awards 2018.Â
Lynda, pictured on our cover, said they had seen a rise in interest from local independent retailers and from local parents.Â

Lynda said that as well as the boost to business, they had appeared at trade and consumer shows, and secured major contracts with large retailers such as John Lewis, Boots, plus many more.Â
Sweet Dreamers has also just launched its upgraded Ewan Deluxe, which has a motion sensor and a removable pod making it machine-washable. It also branched out into range of other products such as Gertie the Good Goose, a teether, and flat versions of Ewan and comforters. Plus it has two products, which are top secret as they are still in development.Â
Lynda, a mum of six, set up Sweet Dreamers after she invented a sleep aid to help her young son. After seven years in development, the product finally hit the shelves in 2010.Â
