Another 10 volunteers joined forces to clean up the area surrounding Leesland Park in Gosport. They cleared a further 12 bags of rubbish.
Altogether, across the UK, up to 500,000 people were out and about clearing up the places they love as part of a wider campaign to rid the country of litter.
Mr Copper said: ‘The Great British Spring Clean inspired people to volunteer their time, get outdoors and pick up some of the litter that surrounds and blights the areas where we live.

‘The enthusiasm of all the volunteers was fantastic and I was proud to see everyone come together for a good cause.’
