Trainee Tim is named as scheme's top candidate
Timothy, who works at Marchwood Power’s gas-fired power station, won the Best Candidate Award in the NEBOSH Certificate of Environmental Management.
Timothy, who completed his training with PETA Ltd, a training company based in North Harbour, said: ‘I was delighted to find out I was top in the country. I knew I had done well but didn’t expect to be first!

Hide Ad‘The course was interesting and well-delivered and PETA’s Amanda Jelley, my sole tutor, made it informative and enjoyable.’
Trainer Amanda said: ‘Tim has done so well, I am so proud of his achievement.
‘I am delighted by the result – there are around 500 delegates a year for the NEBOSH Certificate of Environmental Management and Tim’s achievement is brilliant and really well-deserved.’
Tim’s achievement will be recognised at an awards ceremony in July, at the University of Warwick.
PETA director Bob Hiskey said: ‘I am extremely delighted for Timothy to see his determination and hard work rewarded.
‘A terrific outcome and so rewarding to be recognised – very well done.’
