Concern over heatwave
A HEALTH warning is being given today as Portsmouth braces itself for a mini heatwave next week.
Forecasters predict temperatures could hit 30C from Monday to Wednesday.
Now NHS England is calling for people to wear a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses to combat potential heatstroke.
NHS England South medical director Nigel Acheson said: ‘The dangers are all too clear, not only getting burned or sunstroke but also the added risk of developing skin cancer later in life.’
