'˜We just cannot wait to add to that total and hold this walk again this week.'
Sharon, who is an area manager for Avon, started organising the event as part of the company's national campaign for October which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Several years on, it is a date on many people's calendars. Participants enjoy getting dressed up in pink and finding pink accessories to complete their outfits.
