Nominations close tomorrow for prom organised by Havant teenager
Lewis Hine, from Havant, has organised the prom for 15 to 19-year-olds as part of his Friend Finder project which looks to make sure everyone has a friend.
The prom, for 150 people in June at Portsmouth Guildhall, is for teenagers who missed their own prom due to illness, disability or other social issues. Nominations close tomorrow and Lewis wants to make sure people have sent in their entries.

He launched his Friend Finder website for other young people like him and the prom is part of their monthly meet-ups.
Speaking at the launch, Lewis said: ‘Missing school is one thing, missing your prom due to illness or disability can be really upsetting and disheartening so I felt this was the perfect event to hold and help make this magical night happen.
‘We have had so many nominations in from children who missed proms as they were having chemotherapy, to others who couldn’t attend prom due to their special needs.’
