Hide AdMary Taylor volunteers at both organisations and thinks it is very important for people to talk more about death.
She said: ‘At the end of the day it is going to happen to us all and we all experience different kind of bereavements so we need to make sure people aren’t bottling it up and are talking about their feelings.
‘We used to have this stiff upper lip about things like that but it really is important to share how we feel and be open and honest and cry if we need to. There will be lots of people to listen to you over a cuppa and cake.’
The events will be held at Portsmouth Cathedral, between 2pm and 4 pm on Friday May 17 and Saturday May 18.
