'˜We're planning a brighter future' says QA boss after damning report
Tim Powell, the interim chief executive of Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust, which runs the hospital, is hopeful their plans will sort out the problems in A&E.
It comes as the Care Quality Commission (CQC) published a damning report into QA Hospital’s emergency provision rating it as inadequate.
Mr Powell told The News: ‘I am incredibly optimistic.

Hide Ad‘When I come into work everyday and look around me at the staff and those at A&E, their commitment and resilience is outstanding.
‘I am absolutely confident that we will be able to deliver the changes to provide affective services to the people of Portsmouth.
‘It is going to be challenging but I am really excited that we can make a real difference. The people of Portsmouth can have a hospital they are really proud of.’
