Charity raises thousands
Reside Developments, which has applications in Tichfield and Funtley, raised £23,900 for Sightsavers – a charity that works in some of the poorest countries in the world to eliminate avoidable blindness.
The company raised the money by running, cycling, climbing, walking and even having a round of golf.

‘In third world countries such as Tanzania, where the money is being directed, children and young people often rely on just a rugby ball or football for their entertainment, but many are denied the simple pleasure of team sport and kicking a ball around due to poor eyesight.
‘I’m delighted that the money Reside is donating will help so many regain their sight.’
