Driver arrested over mobility scooter fatal crash is being investigated for causing death by dangerous driving

Grandfather John Dognini, 80, of Villa Gardens in Waterlooville, died when his mobility scooter collided with a Vauxhall Corsa in a crash.
Mr Dognini died on December 2 in London Road at the junction with Winifred Road in Waterlooville.

Hide AdHe had been buying Christmas presents for his grandchildren and great-grandchild.
He was due to celebrate his 60th wedding anniversary with his wife Julia in March this year.
Now police said a 22-year-old man arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury, before Mr Dognini died in hospital, is being investigated over the death.
A Hampshire police spokesman said: 'He is now being investigated for causing death by dangerous driving, however there would be no necessity to rearrest for that offence in the circumstances.'
