Gosport police report 'another busy weekend' of criminality in town with men charged for attempted burglary and thefts

Officers splitting their time between overseeing lockdown restrictions and upholding law and order were pleased with results amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Two men were charged for an attempted burglary while, in a separate incident, a male was charged and remanded in custody for nine thefts. They have not yet been named.

The message went on to say how police are ‘splitting our focus between safeguarding neighbourhoods from the ongoing challenges faced by Covid-19 and tackling criminality by those who continue to disrupt the fabric of our community’.
