Man appears in court after attempted kidnap of Southsea schoolgirl
Roger Seath, 41, of no fixed address, entered no plea to charges of attempted kidnap, of a girl who cannot be named for legal reasons, with intent to commit a sexual offence and possession of a bladed article.
Seath will next appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on November 7.

Hide AdIt comes after a 14-year-old girl was approached in Southsea on Wednesday at 4pm.
Following the incident police advised people to stay alert.
A spokeswoman said: ‘Stay alert but not alarmed. Remain vigilant and remind children and teenagers of stranger danger. Report anything or anyone suspicious to 101, or call 999 in an emergency.’
