Man attacks boy, 12, to steal his bike
The 12-year-old was with a group of friends on their bikes in Kingston Park, Fratton when they were chased by a man.
He was able to catch up with the 12-year-old and pushed him off his bike.

Hide AdThe boy fell to the ground and the man rode off on the bike, heading in the direction of Byerley Road.
Fortunately the victim did not suffer any injuries but he and his friends have been left shaken by the incident, which police revealed today happened at 8.30pm on July 31.
The stolen bike is a light green Norco BMX, with distinctive red wheels, black tyres and a black saddle. It is worth an estimated £400.
PC Ian Swan, from Fratton police station, said: ‘This was a very distressing robbery which saw a child deliberately targeted.

Hide Ad‘I would like to speak to anyone who has any information about this incident, no matter how small or insignificant they may think it is, because it could lead us to recovering the stolen bike or catching the man responsible.
‘I would also like to speak to anyone who thinks they recognise the man in the efit.’
