David Oppitz was caught on camera appearing to kick and punch Sunderland star Luke O’Nien in a League One play-off game in May last year.
Portsmouth magistrates handed him a football banning order after Pompey supporter Oppitz hurled abusive language at a female steward who was trying to escort him from the match following the incident.

Now Oppitz, 51, of Totton Walk, Leigh Park, has admitted failing to surrender his passport on November 13 last year. England beat Kosovo 4-0 at the Fadil Vokrri Stadium on November 17.
Oppitz had been required to hand over his passport whenever England played abroad.
City magistrates imposed a six-month conditional discharge with £21 victim surcharge and £50 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
