Hide AdUddin pleaded guilty to rape. A senior police officer previously said it was a ‘stranger’ attack and was unusual for Portsmouth.
He was previously bailed but was brought back to court and remanded.
Last month when no interpreter was present, judge Ashworth said he would speak to the appropriate person to explain it was ‘completely inappropriate’ that contractor Big Word did not provide someone.
At the hearing on October 20 he said it was ‘very bad news’ the case was delayed.
