Portsmouth man who stole 324 chocolate bars jailed for 28 days

THIEF Simon Freeman stole £198.85 worth of chocolate.
The 29-year-old, of Quinton Close, Somers Town, took the 324 bars on November 24 last year.
Portsmouth magistrates jailed him for 28 days.
Magistrates ordered that he must pay a £115 victim surcharge.
He took them from Tesco.
Freeman admitted theft having previously denied the charge.
