Tool fraud to pay £1,450
A FRAUDSTER who pretended to be from a tool hire company has been ordered to pay compensation.
Robert Fletcher, 39, of Milton Road, Portsmouth, admitted fraud at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.
He used a business account to get two Hilti drills, a generator, circular saw, a petrol-powered saw, and 110-volt extension lead.

Hide AdPortsmouth magistrates ordered him to pay £1,450 compensation.
He must also pay £150 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
No surcharge was imposed as an order for compensation was made.
Fletcher’s guilty plea was taken into account when he was sentenced on Friday, March 3.
