Two children 'aged between 10 and 12' throw stones at man, 63, outside Portsmouth shop

The victim was assaulted as he left the RD News Premier store in Stamshaw Road, Stamshaw, police said.
Youngsters hurled stones at him, leaving him bloodied and bruised, with a swollen cheek under his left eye.

Hide AdNow police are hunting for the youngsters responsible for the assault, which took place between 8.30pm and 8.40pm.
In a statement on Facebook, Portsmouth Police said: ‘Two slim-built, white youths, aged between 10 and 12 years old and wearing dark-coloured clothes are thought to have thrown stones at the male as he left the shop.
‘We are looking to speak with anyone who may have further information . This may help us identify those involved.’
