Woman arrested in Emsworth after 'taser' is used outside pub

Police were called at 11.08pm on Saturday, August 22 to a report of a public order incident involving a group of people behind the Coal Exchange Pub on South Street in Emsworth.
During the incident, officers identified that a 40-year-old woman and three men aged 52, 23, and 18, had been assaulted.

Hide AdA statement from police said: ‘An electrical incapacitation device was also seized by officers and no-one was seriously hurt.
‘A 40-year-old woman was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession of a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid, gas, or electrical incapacitation device.’
The woman has since been released without charge but remains under investigation as enquiries continue to establish what happened.
