Festival is set to thrill boat-lovers and families
The three-day event at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard takes place in Boathouse 4.
Music, rope-making, Tudor shipwright skills and tours of the boathouse will be on offer.

Hide AdThere will also be a model boat display with pyrotechnics from Portsmouth Model Boat Display Team on the Mast Pond outside Action Stations.
Organiser of the Summer Festival, Marian Smith, said: ‘We’re really excited to be launching this new festival.
‘Entry to the Historic Dockyard’s Main Road and HMS Warrior 1860’s jetty is completely free. There will be something for everyone - families, and wooden boat enthusiasts.
‘We want to give visitors of all ages a flavour of what goes on at Boathouse 4, where students learn the unique craft of traditional boatbuilding. ‘
The festival runs 10am to 5pm on August 5, 6 and 7.
Entry is free over the three days.
