M&S team to renovate lifeboat station
VOLUNTEERS from Marks & Spencer will be donning their overalls next week, as part of a renovation project for the Hamble Independent Lifeboat Station.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, staff from M&S Hedge End will head over to the station as part of National Volunteering Week, for which Marks & Spencer to show their support.
Account executive Emma Huskins said: ‘For the past 15 years, the charity has been fundraising to build a new boat shed and crew room for its volunteers.
‘We saw this as a chance to give something back to a much-loved local charity.’
