Pigeon triggers Portsmouth fire alert

Firefighters raced to a call in Portsmouth - to discover it had been triggered by a pigeon.
The bird set off a fire alarm by flying in front of the sensor.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said in a tweet: ‘Pigeon causing automatic fire alarm to activate in Anchorage Park, Portsmouth, Pigeon has flown in front of the sensor.’
Firefighters from Southsea attended the call.
