Hide AdMiss Fernandes said: ‘It is always a pleasure welcoming Fareham schools to Parliament.
‘I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the students from Cams Hill and was impressed with the level of engagement they showed towards politics and key issues of today.
‘I hope this marks the beginning of their active involvement in politics, and I urge younger people to join a political party or take part in campaigns as a way of making their voice heard.’
During the sessions, the pupils quizzed their MP on the challenges from Brexit, the renewal of the Trident nuclear deterrent and many other topics during their day at Parliament.
