Funkidories in Fareham announced this week that it will close on Sunday.
But managing director Freya Derrick told The News that it is not goodbye forever.

'˜As a soft play centre we struggle and so Hopscotch wants to open another nursery on the site instead as we already have a number of nurseries in the area but we know there is demand for more.'
The team at the Fielder Drive centre, which is off Newgate Lane, are now in the process of designing a new nursery and hope to get planning permission soon.
Freya said: '˜We want to open the new nursery by January next year and we have a video which shows how we want it to look and we have already had people asking to come and look round it.'
The equipment from the centre will be given to Monkey Bizness Indoor Play Centres.
Freya added: '˜Although we are saying goodbye to Funkidories, we are saying hello to Hopscotch.'
