Where and when does Guildhall service and parade start?Â

Hide AdThe remembrance service will take place in Portsmouth city centre, in Guildhall Square, on Sunday, November 11.Â
The events will begin at 6am when a lone piper will play in Guildhall Square marking the moment the Armistice agreement was signed 100 years ago.
Then, from 10am until midday, a service and parade will take place in the square.
What will take place during Guildhall Remembrance service?Â

Hide AdThe event will be attended by military units, cadet groups, veterans and community organisations.
At 11am there will be a two-minute silence followed by the service. A wreath-laying ceremony at the First World War and Second World War memorials will conclude the morning's events.
If you intend to lay a wreath, please ensure that you arrive before 10.30am and make yourself known to a marshal who will direct you.
What other services are taking place?Â
-Â A ceremony is being staged at the Portsmouth Naval Memorial on Southsea Common from 9.30am until 10am.

Hide Ad- St Mary's Church, in Fratton Road, is hosting a Royal British Legion service of Remembrance from 3pm to 4pm.
- The Last Post will be played at Southsea Castle at 6.55pm ahead of a national beacon lighting service at the site at 7pm. At 7.05pm bells will be rung out at Portsmouth's Anglican cathedral.
