Teenagers spend 24 hours in a raft to raise funds for charity
Keiran O’Toole, Adrian Duffy and George Palmer, all 17, spent a whole 24 hours from 11am on Saturday to 11am yesterday in order to raise awareness for the Royal Navy & Royal Marines charity.
The Portsmouth College students raised £800 ahead of the challenge, and managed to add a further £91 from a collection box on the day.

Keiran said: ‘It’s a charity that’s close to our hearts and we thought it would be a great way to raise awareness of it.
‘I’m so glad it’s all over as it was pretty awful at times.
‘It got really cold at one point and water started leaking under the cover when it was raining during the night.
‘I think saying that though we’d do it again if it was for the charity.’
Sponsors Seago Yachting had loaned the raft to the trio.
