Cyclist suffers serious injuries in Wickham crash

Police closed both sections of Hoad’s Hill, in Wickham, while they dealt with the incident.
A police spokeswoman said they called at 11.18am to the collision, which involved a Citroen car.
The air ambulance was dispatched and landed at the scene.

Hide AdA spokesman from South Central Ambulance Service said: ‘We were called at 11.10am to reports of a collision between a cyclist and a car.
‘We sent two ambulances, who on arrival requested the air ambulance to attend.
‘We had one adult male patient with life-threatening head injuries who was taken by air to Southampton General.’
