Cyclist killed in fatal collision between lorry and bicycle in Southampton

Hampshire Constabulary said it was investigating the crash which happened on the A33 Terminus Terrace on Friday morning.
Officers were called to the road at about 8am after reports of the collision.

Hide AdA police spokesperson said the cyclist, a 43-year-old man from Southampton, died as a result of the crash.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Crews from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service were also called out to the scene.
Road closures were in place around the junction with Captains Place and motorists were asked to find alternative routes.

It was the second fatal incident police were called out to Southampton in the space of 24 hours.
