Van lands on its side after hitting lamppost in Portchester

EMERGENCY services were called after a van crashed into a lamppost and then landed on its side.

The collision happened in Dore Avenue in Portchester at around 9.06pm on Thursday.

Firefighters and police attended the scene.

A spokeswoman for Hampshire Fire and Rescue said: ‘Crews from Portchester and Cosham attended.
