Classy Westowen show what they are All About
The division one team, coached by Brian Weston, beat last season’s winners Swanmore 19-14 this week at Cams Hill School.
Helen Manuel, playing centre for Westowen kept the mid-court fast and furious, partnering up with wing-attack Donna Jackson.

Hide AdKate Lawson of Swanmore kept scoring for the gallant losers when the opportunities were there.
Cams Chaos, also having a fabulous season, beat sister team Cams Commotion 33-12, even pushing them away from that all-important one point.
Again it was in mid-court the teams impressed, with Ellie Massey of Chaos voted as players’ player.
Cams Hill School has a team of impressive youngsters so it was a tough ask for Tornadoes, who lost to them 17-8.

Hide AdMegan Wallace just tipped the balance with her shooting skills, despite Mimi Corke’s mid-court skills for Tornadoes, which included several decent turnovers.
Warriors continued their campaign to get back on top, successfully beating Bounties 34-20 – Beth Ringleberg shone for Warriors, not losing a centre pass.
Wildcats suffered a 29-12 loss to division two table-toppers Netstars.
Sasha Chamberlain shot well for Wildcats but Netstars didn’t allow her many chances – Megan Jevans was a popular choice for Netstars players’ player.

Hide AdKnowle Hotshots were on form, especially in the shooting circle where Kerry Carter and Vicky Richardson were on fire in a 23-16 win over Hughes and King.
Fareham Flyers suffered an unexpected loss to Cookies 22-15.
The score has always been reversed in previous meetings.
Louise Hampton of Flyers, gave her team chances that unfortunately weren’t converted to goals, with Anita Randall of Cookies capitalisting with her powerful defensive play in the shooting circle.
Fareham Fireflies Lilac beat Oceans 40-9 with a very strong display.

Hide AdEven Alex Hughes of Oceans, couldn’t prevent this whitewash with her diverse play.
In division three Digits kept up the high scores, beating Delme Diamonds 27-20.
Anna Bull of Digits, kept up the pressure in mid-court and passed some great balls into her shooters.
Portsmouth Pivotals and Allsorts had the closest game of the night, separated by just one point, 19-18.
Pivotals’ Kelly Gough was named as player of the match.

Hide AdCams Hill School 2 beat Cams Clutter 14-9 and Victor Stewart just came unstuck at the end with Cams Confusion taking the win 22-19.
All About Netball have two events coming up – a coaching session with England World Cup and Manchester Thunder assistant coach, Karen Grieg on July 3, and an open adult tournament on July 10.
