‘A real gentleman’ – Hawks mourning the loss of club president Maurie Hibberd
He passed away last night at QA Hospital, aged 98.
Hibberd was the last link between Hawks and Waterlooville FC, where he was a director for many years prior to the club’s amalgamation with Havant Town in 1998.
He had previously played for many years for Waterlooville as well.

‘He spent a lifetime in football and was a pivotal part of the old Waterlooville football club.
