He said: ‘I think there is a psychological advantage being close to the safety mark.
’Our goal difference is also considerably better than the other teams down there. It’s worth an extra point.
‘We have a week to prepare for the following game after this one, so it’s all or nothing this week.

‘It almost became last-chance saloon and we knew we had to pick up the three points against Hull.
‘A draw wouldn’t have been good enough to put pressure on the other teams above us.

‘If we get the same sort of performance, hopefully that will be good enough to get the three points.’
