Pompey boss given FA punishment
Paul Cook has been hit with an FA fine for misconduct.
Pompey’s boss was sent to the stands following a clash with Plymouth first-team coach Paul Wotton during the play-off first leg at Fratton Park.
The incident occurred around the 11th minute of the 2-2 draw, with Wotton banished from the Pilgrims’ dugout for his part.
The duo have since pleaded guilty to improper language and/or behaviour and are now each fined £500.
The penalty, which they accepted, is the standard punishment for such an offence.
