Like most Pompey fans, Jackett has been impressed with Seddon’s delivery in open play and dead-ball situations.

‘Then he came on for 25 minutes against Walsall.
‘He’s not had many minutes or game time this season really.

‘On corners and free-kicks, he has a very good delivery and at times we’ve missed that.

He added: ‘Lee’s good. He’s happy with how it’s going and he’s outside working

‘But he’s had no problems in terms of his rehab.
