Salford City sack manager - nine days after beating Portsmouth at Wembley!
The club today parted company with the man who oversaw the Ammies winning their first silverware in league football against the Blues – just nine days ago.
That proved to be the final game of Kenny Jackett’s four-season Blues stewardship, after he was relieved of his duties the following day.
