Portsmouth's away record the best in English football
Not only have the current Blues team registered the best away start to a Football League season in the club's history, they can also proudly boast that they are the best-performing team on the road from English football's top four divisions.
Kenny Jackett's side's weekend victory at AFC Wimbledon reinforced an outstanding away record this term.

And that is supplemented by last week's victory at Crawley in the Checkatrade Trophy.

But both sides have suffered mixed results on their travels in cup competitions to date.
Peterborough have played two additional away fixtures to so far in the Checkatrade Trophy and Carabao Cup respectively.
Their Carabao Cup trip to QPR ended in a 2-0 loss, with the Posh drawing 3-3 at MK Dons in the Checkatrade Trophy, before missing out an additional point following a 6-5 penalty shootout loss.

Hide AdLincoln have five wins and a draw in the league, with three further cup matches played away from Sincil Bank.
That saw a win and a draw in the Checkatrade Trophy, with last week's trip to Scunthorpe finishing all square before an additional point was collected with a 3-1 penalty shootout success.
Lincoln's other away match saw them fall to a 4-1 defeat at Blackburn in the Carabao Cup.
The impressive away league form in English football is largely confined to League One.
