Report: Decision made on Chaplin's Coventry availability against PortsmouthÂ
That's according to Andy Turner, the Sky Blues' correspondent for the Coventry Telegraph.
As reported by The News, Kenny Jackett holds sway on whether Chaplin will be able to play against the Blues at the Ricoh Arena.Â

Confusion arose in the wake of the transfer over whether Chaplin could feature when the two sides meet in their first league encounter of the season.
Mark Robins had suggested the Worthing talent would be available in League One '“ but not if the clubs drew each other in a cup competition.Â
Following Coventry's 1-1 draw with Sunderland on Saturday, Turner asked during the post-match press conference if Chaplin had been granted permission to face Pompey.

Turner wrote on Twitter: '˜Yes I asked and no he (Chaplin) isn't allowed to play.'
