Hampshire skipper leads England Lions to glory
James Vince struck 70 as England Lions beat Pakistan A by five wickets in the first unofficial one-day international in Dubai.
The skipper’s 83-ball knock, which included eight fours, put the tourists on course to overhaul the home side’s 192 all out.
Vince’s Hampshire team-mate Liam Dawson helped finish the job with 29 off 31 deliveries.
The all-rounder had earlier taken one for 42 with his left-arm spin.
The second game in the five-match series takes place on Friday.
