Jacks continue to impress in Portsmouth Billiards League
They beat Craneswater Z 6-1 to continue their excellent start to the season.
Arthur Newland was the only man to deny them a maximum.
Nigel Ward was unlucky, losing by two points after giving Terry Hickley a massive start of 160.

Copnor E’s bubble burst at Craneswater A as Andy Boulton led his men to a 5-2 win.
The skipper ran in breaks of 47 and 40 as he demolished Norman Bradfield.
Rob Kirby made a 43 and Tony Hansford and Colin Rowe were also on target for the Southsea snooker kings.

Copnor C went down to another defeat as Portchester X returned to their castle with a 5-2 haul.

Copnor Xcels went down to the Leigh Park, while Cowplain suffered at Copnor.

But the latter was let off the hook by visiting skipper Dave Gowing, who seems to freeze on the run in.

Gary Green, Darren Harper and Barry Wooley all won comfortably but Gary Wilton had to battle against James Curtis who made a 34 break.
Charlie Bishop registered a fine 40 in Craneswater R’s 4-3 win at Pompey Royals.
He was unstoppable, cruising to a 150-55 victory.
Captain John Peers and Harry Yard also impressed.
Chad Wainwright and John Challacombe were excellent for the stationsiders.
Steve Orchard found Andy White tougher competition.
