Robinson insists this has given the whole squad a huge lift.
He reckons the team are taking on board the lessons learned in the opening three months.
This includes showing the greater physicality demanded at the higher level.

Against a big physical Halifax side they didn't allow that to happen.
He feels the win against FC Halifax can prove to be a big turning point.
Robinson said: '˜Beating Halifax was a big result for us following on from our big win over Maidenhead.
'˜It helps us build that little bit of momentum.

Hide Ad'˜We started the season fairly well in terms of performances but the results didn't always reflect this.
'˜It is nice now to get a couple of successive wins under our belt to help grow the confidence.
'˜Our display shows we are coming to terms with the greater physicality needed.
'˜For the majority of the game I felt we won our physical battles.
'˜We put in a good performance and took our goals well.

'˜When Halifax came back at us late on we held our nerve to get over the line.
'˜It was a great feeling when the final whistle went.'
