And his form continued as he went on to whitewash Dave Harper 3-0 in the second round.

Hide AdThen he edged out Wayne France 4-3 in the quarter-finals before convincingly beating Luke Getty 4-0 in the last four.
Jenkins won his semi-final against Lee Evans 4-1.
He had previously seen off Ron Atwill 4-0 in the quarter-finals.
In the last-16 he came through a closer battle as he saw off Mike Symes 3-2.
In the quarter-finals, Getty beat Justin Bradshaw 4-0 and Evans triumphed 4-3 against Tony Moore.

Hide AdSam Palmer, John Large, Robbie Norster, George Sanderson, Jason Poole and Wayne Crossley all reached the last 16.
Jenkins’ second-place finish was enough to see him top the points table at the end of the 10 stages.
He finished with 102 points and picked up £720 in prize money.
That makes him top seed in the grand finals competing for the £500 top prize.
