By the age of three Max had improved greatly during his treatment and was off to school like many others.
Now seven years old, Max is a bright and bubbly boy who will be taking part in the Junior South Run.
Max, who was in Cosham today to see the pair, said: ‘I am very thankful for the Elizabeth Foundation and I am very excited to run tomorrow.’
