Goodwood’s 79th Members’ Meeting - an epic weekend of track action and fun-packed festivities
and live on Freeview channel 276
Based at Goodwood’s historic Motor Circuit near Chichester in West Sussex, Members’ Meeting features all kinds of cars, from classic tin-tops and GTs to motorcycles and open-wheeled Formula 3 and F1 machines.
It is two full days of crowd-pleasing action, including new races such as the A.F.P. Fane Trophy for pre-war, chain-driven leviathans, as well as popular favourites such as the Gerry Marshall Trophy for Group 1 touring cars of the 1970s and ‘80s.
Uncrowded, intimate and access-all-areas, it’s exclusively open to the Goodwood Road Racing Club – and you could be there.
GOODWOOD’S BIGGEST OUTDOOR PARTY
The Saturday evening will be super special with the day’s activities climaxing with unmissable entertainment, including an incredible firework display. There’s fabulous food and drink, live music, stunning entertainers and even late night fairground ride fun, open to all ticket holders.
THRILLING DEMONSTRATIONS
The Group C era remains perhaps the high watermark for both the Le Mans 24 Hours and worldwide sportscar racing in general.
Celebrating Porsche’s Group C domination, the mighty 956s and 962s will be taking to the track in the firstof two demonstrations on both Saturday and Sunday.
In the second demonstration, the circuit will come alive with the sound of the V10 engines which provided Formula 1’s iconic soundtrack throughout the 1990s and early 2000s.
Up to 20 cars from the powerhouses of the era – including Ferrari, McLaren and Williams – will reunite with some of the star drivers of the V10 age.
WHEEL-TO-WHEEL RACING
Goodwood’s Members’ Meeting features possibly the most eclectic array of historic racing and race machinery and is absolutely not to be missed.
OFF-TRACK GAMES
The competition is not restricted to the track – the variety of games available at the Members’ Meeting is legendary. Where else can you play croquet one minute, throw axes the next before choosing between duck herding or ferret racing?
